  • Over 30,000 stitches knit by hand create this oversized, cozy, boxy fit sweater dress with checkerboard patterning throughout. Midi length. Long sleeves, with slightly larger checked pattern compliment the drape of the dress body. It’s a heavy piece, so the shoulders and neckline are reinforced to provide support for the weight of the sweater draping from those seams.

  • 100% US Merino wool. Grown, sheared and manufactured in the pacific northwest, this wool is verified climate beneficial by Fibershed. Morph Knitwear only sources yarns that are made relatively locally (within the US, preferably within the pacific northwest) to reduce the carbon footprint of shipping, as well as to support the small farms, ranches and mills who are striving to re-create a local fiber-shed. Being certified climate beneficial means that using this yarn is not just neutral, but actually good for our ecosystem!

Caring for your knitwear:

Wool is an incredible fiber that has naturally occurring antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, which means that it needs washing much less than other fibers. Air out your woolen between wears, and store with an herbal sachet or in a cedar box, and you’ll find that you rarely, if ever, need to give it a full washing.

When you do need to wash, hand washing in cool water is recommended. Use a no-rinse wool wash, and do not agitate while washing. Squeeze water out (don’t wring it!), then roll in a towel to remove excess water, gently reshape, and lay flat to dry. Store folded to prevent shoulders becoming stretched out.
